John Wesley - A Biography By Bonamy Dobree

John Wesley lived from 1703-1791. His followers were know as Methodists, and they are still around today. This Biography was published in 1933 by Bonamy Dobree, who created this account from the many other biographies and personal journals of John Wesley in existence. Wesley was a traveling preacher well known in Europe, but he also came to America for a time. He was good friends, and preached, with the well known evangelist Whitefield. Whitfield was easily the more sophisticated speaker of the two, but it was generally when Wesley started speaking that things would happen, such as people crying in repentance of their sinfulness.
