Haralan Popoff was put in prison in Bulgaria, by the communist party, for 13 years, for being a christian minister. He was brutally tortured, and while they did break his will, he shares several times when Jesus intervened, hugging him, speaking to him or giving him supernatural strength etc. He founded Door of Hope International in 1972.
