This is the true story of the First Great Awakening (1730-1750). It’s not a musical or a play, although sight and sound produced it. It shows how Wesley and Whitefield left the church buildings to preach in the open air. It’s told from the perspective of Whitefield’s journals, focusing on his preaching in America. It also shows how Benjamin Franklin was affected and the role he played in the forming of our constitution in 1787.
