Based on the true story of John Wesley. Wesley grew up in a Christian home in England. He became a religious man striving to please God, but when his ship was caught in a violent storm, he found that he greatly feared death. His search for assurance of salvation ended at a small church, and he zealously preached the truth he found. After getting kicked out of many of the English churches for preaching, saved by grace apart from works, he eventually became a traveling preacher.
