A Million And A Half In Answer To Prayer
George Müller lived from 1805-1898. This is the account of how He relied solely on God through prayer, and was able to start an orphanage and see it grow to a capacity of 2050 orphans plus staff. He never asked for a donation, or publicized his needs to gain funds, but solely relied on God through prayer. This is the longest shortened edition of his narrative I know of. This is the second edition, published in 1906. It is written by George Müller himself. It was compiled by G. Fred Bergin, Director of the new orphan houses at Ashley Down, Bristol. (One account says the original was 3000 pages with over one million words).
