C. H. Spurgeon

Charels H. Spurgeon lived from 1834-1892. Many have called him the “Prince of Preachers”. At one point over 23,000 people were counted at one sermon. He was know for his extensive writings, and although he earned millions in book sales, he left only 2,000£ to his wife at his death. His Character and godliness were above reproach, and an estimated 100,000 attended his funeral. This account was written by himself, but it was compiled by his wife and other publishers after his death, with comments between his own writing.
