John Knox lived from 1514-1572. He writes about key events in the reformation from 1513-1572. He talks about Martin Luther and other leaders or martyrs, and how the government and Catholic rule began changing their ways. Many of the original words have been changed, for readability (chap = strike, gar = make etc.)
