Melba Beals was born in 1947 and is still living. She lived in the days of Martin Luther King and the Ku Klux Klan. She writes how God prepared, guided and miraculously helped her, as she stood up for the rights of African Americans, throughout her life. She was also one of nine black students chosen to enter an all white school in Arkansas.
