Amy Wilson Carmichael lived from 1867-1951. Amy was an evangelist, but she is best known for her work sheltering and teaching rescued girls, who would otherwise end up in temple prostitution. This Narrative is one of her earliest books, compiled in 1904 upon the request of some of her co-workers in the faith. This narrative consists of the every day life as she and her fellow workers went about southern India proclaiming the gospel.
