As I pondered my desire for a wife, I rebuked myself for desiring, what seemed to me, selfish and outside of contentment with God. Then I thought why even create Eve for Adam, if God was already there communicating with Adam. If God is to be our all-consuming desire why create another person? I prayed to God about this, and almost immediately, thoughts of God's goodness towards me, came into my mind. And almost out loud the thought came, “I wish I could share God's goodness with someone.” With tears of joy I thanked God for his grace in granting us someone to tell, of the beyond comprehensible attributes and works of God, which He is revealing and working in us, whom He loves.
