Lotus Buds was written by Amy Wilson Carmichael (1867-1951). She published it in 1909. This book describes the children in the orphanage Amy W. Carmichael started. In Amy Carmichael's own words, “The book has been written for lovers of children. Those who find such young life tiresome will find the story dull, and the kindest thing it can ask of them is not to read it at all.” I think this is the 7th book she wrote (~46 Total).
